CENTER POLICY & PROCEDURES As Of Oct. 01. 2009

HOURS OF OPERATION:

►Wednesday: 3:30 – 7:00: (3:30-4:00, 4:00-4:30, 4:30-5:00, 5:00-5:30, 5:30-6:00, 6:00-6:30, 6:30-7:00)

►Saturday: 2:30 – 6:00: (2:30-3:00, 3:00-3:30, 3:30-4:00, 4:00-4:30, 4:30-5:00, 5:00-5:30, 5:30-6:00)

*Class is available twice a week for about 30 min. per subject (about 60 min. for two subjects).

Students are expected to complete daily worksheets at home and at the center.

Students in the Junior KUMON Program will need to come during their assigned time slot

.• Please be able to pick up your child within 30 minutes to an hour.

Up to 7^th Grade: One Time Registration Fee: $50.00 per Child & Material Fee: $30.00

Math & Reading (Both):

I Year Payment Plan : (13^th month deposit of $200 required for new enrollment )

*Plan A: $200 / Monthly

*Plan B: $1100 / 6month.

*Plan C: $2000 / 12month. (Not required 13^th month deposit)

Math:

I Year Payment Plan : (13^th month deposit of $100 required for new enrollment )

*Plan A: $100 / Monthly

*Plan B: $550 / 6month.

*Plan C: $1100 / 12month. (Not required 13^th month deposit)

Reading:

I Year Payment Plan : (13^th month deposit of $110 required for new enrollment )

*Plan A: $110 / Monthly

*Plan B: $600 / 6 month.

*Plan C: $1200 / 12months. (Not required 13^th month deposit)

8^th Grade & up: One Time Registration Fee: $50.00 per Child & Material Fee: $30.00

Math:

*Plan A: $120 / Monthly

*Plan B: $650 / 6 months.

*Plan C: $1200 / 12months. (Not required 13^th month deposit)

Reading:

I Year Payment Plan : (13^th month deposit of $130 required for new enrollment )

*Plan A: $130 / Monthly

*Plan B: $700 / 6 months

*Plan C: $1300 / 12months. (Not required 13^th month deposit)

◊ Forms of Payment: Cash, Check, Money Order.

Checks Should Be Made Out To Lee

• Tuitions are not refundable or transferable.

• There is a $30.00 charge for NSF(returned, bounced) checks.

• Re-enrollment fee of $50 required if student is absent over 2 months.

• Tuition fee is due in one week advance by the end of next payment due date.

• A late fee of $10.00 will be added to the tuition payment after 7 days of the due date.

• The Kumon tutoring does not qualify as personal income tax deduction. KUMON centers do not provide with Tax ID. Consult with your tax adviser.

*Absences:

There is no make up classes.

If your child will be absent, make sure to pick up the class work and homework, work can be picked up or dropped off using the pick-up/drop off mail box in the front of the center. If your family is going on a trip, be sure to pick up the work so he or she can continue with Kumon practice.

One month advance notice is required if you planning on interrupting or dropping Kumon study, and there is no allowance for partial monthly tuition.

*Parental Involvement:

Your involvement with your child’s Kumon program is very important for the success of the program. You may do so by ensuring that your child completes the assignment independently every day in a quiet atmosphere, and you grade it using red pen for immediate feed back and corrections on a daily basis. “Don’t go to bed with a mistake in your head” is a motto often heard in Kumon Centers. Our Center firmly believes in the benefit of home grading for our student’s success and thus requires that parents do daily home grading for all children. Home-grading guidelines and instructions will be provided with the answer key.

If home work wasn’t graded or all the corrections not completed, students will be taking it back for completion at home. Home Grading is essential for smooth and efficient progress.

There will be additional charge $20/month per subject if parent can not do home grading.

*Center Etiquette:

Your child should come prepared to the center with the completed homework, and a pencil and eraser

In order to make the center a positive learning environment for each students, we ask that all cell phone ringers are turn off while in the center. We also ask that every keeps the noise volume to a minimum. Parents and siblings are required to wait in the waiting area during class time. Students are not allowed to use the center phone for calling parents unless there is an emergency.
